Start with the sport and competition you want to follow, then choose whether to bet before the event starts or while it is under way. That timing determines whether you use pre-match or in-play betting.

Which sports and competitions can you bet on?
Casumo’s sports coverage includes football, horse racing, tennis, cricket, rugby, Formula 1 and basketball. For bettors in Great Britain, the named competitions cover domestic football, European football and major racing, tennis and rugby events:
- Football: the Premier League and Champions League are covered, giving you domestic league and European competition options.
- Horse racing: coverage includes the Cheltenham Festival, Grand National and Royal Ascot, so you can look for these meetings when choosing a racing event.
- Tennis: Wimbledon is among the competitions covered.
- Rugby: the Six Nations and Rugby World Cup are included.
Cricket, Formula 1 and basketball add choices beyond those named competitions. Choose the event you want to bet on before considering when to place the bet.
How do pre-match betting, in-play betting and cash out work?
Casumo offers both pre-match and in-play betting in Great Britain. Cash out serves a different purpose: it lets you settle an existing bet early in certain cases, rather than place a new one.
| Feature | What it does | Availability or condition |
|---|---|---|
| Pre-match betting | You place your bet before the event begins. | Offered in Great Britain. |
| In-play betting | You place your bet while the event is taking place. | Offered in Great Britain. |
| Cash out | You settle a bet early to secure a return or limit potential loss. | Available in certain cases; check whether it is offered for your bet. |
What does the cash-out condition mean for you?
Early settlement is an option to check, not something to assume every bet will have. If you want to close a bet before its outcome is decided, first look for an available cash-out option. Using it settles the bet at that point instead of leaving it open for the eventual result.
Cash out can limit a potential loss, but it is still a decision about an existing wager. For guidance on managing your gambling, read our safer-gambling resources.
